THE POWER OF THE DRAGON

In the Christian religion the dragon represents the
devil and the devil, as we all know, smell of sulphur
or brimstone. The dragon is any combustible
material such as oil, petrol, gasoline, gunpower or
gas, that productes flames and a revolting stench.
And the dragon exists in human beings; it is a fuel,
a fire. that is capable of carrying man out inyo
space. If he does not know how to use it properly,
however, instead of being projected to tremendous
heigts, he will be thrown down and engulfed in the
depths of the earth.

We all have this dragon within us.There is an individual dragon, therefore, and there is also the collective dragon of which St John speaks in the
apocalypse, saying that it will be bound for a thousand years and cast into the bottomless pit.
This means that the day will come when this collective sexual force, which drives human beings
to things that are far from divine, to wars and assassinations, will have to be educated, domesticated
and sublimated. What else could be done with the dragon ? Could it just stay down there, in the pit ?
No, it is going to be properly trained. It will have magnificent teachers who will give it and excellent
education; there will even be chiropodists, manicurists and dentists who will take care to trim its teeth
and claws and make it harmless, it for polite company.

You must not slay dragon, you must educate it.... unless, of course, you prefer to eat it. That makes
you laugh, perhaps, but you should read what the Talmud says about it: it says that Leviatan, the
great sea monster that symbolizes evil, lives in the depths of the ocean and that, in the last days,
it will be caught, cup up and pickled in brine and served as a banquet for the Righteous. Just think of
the treat in store for us all... on condition, of course, that we are numbered amongst the Righteous.
I don´t know what the others are going to eat, but we, the Righteous ( well, we have to say it for
ourselves. Nobody is going to say it for us, are they ? ) We must be prepared to feast on the flesh
of this monster. I suppose that there will be a few problems involved; if it is as tough as and old boot
and you are toothless, for instance, what will you do ? Perhaps there will be all kinds of sauces and
clever ways of cooking it to make in tender. Then, there is also the questions of the cut: here will have
to be maps of how carve it up. And some of it will have to be tinned.
What a glorious prospect: hundreds of factories busily enganged in putting the Leviatan in tins.
It´s just as well the monster is so huge, for there will be thousands of people to feed, So, let the
Righteous rejoice for their future is assured.
